Welcome

We are dedicated to being McHenry County’s finest Golf Academy.  We have 2 full time instructors on staff for individual lessons that can help you with any aspect of your game, including full swing, short game, course management, golf fitness, and the mental/ emotional side of the game. We offer a variety of group programs including, 3 hour golf schools for adults, corporate clinics, and golf camps for high school players.  Boone Creek is the home to the largest junior program in the area with over 300 kids annually from ages 5-14 in our various classes. We offer club fitting using our Foresight Sports launch monitor and we carry all of the major manufacturers, including: Adams, Callaway, Cleveland, Cobra, Mizuno, Nike, Ping, Taylor Made, Titleist, Tour Edge, and U.S. Kids Golf.  We also offer complete club repair on site including re-gripping and re-shafting services.

 2012 Golf School Information

 

Boone Creek Golf Academy has three golf school options:

  • Full Swing /club fitting/ TPI assessment
  • Full Swing / short game/ club fitting
  • Full Swing / chipping & pitching / putting                

 Full Swing: One hour lesson with video assessment and DVD

Club Fitting: One hour evalution of current set composition, fitting recommendations, and trial of suggested equipment 

TPI Assessment: One hour physical screening to determine what your body can or can't do

Short Game: One hour lesson covering chipping, pitching, and putting

Chipping & Pitching: One hour lesson covering a variety of chips and pitches

Putting: One hour lesson covering basic fundamentals and mental process/routine

 

Fridays: 3pm - 6pm

Junior Golf Print

 

Boone Creek Golf Academy offers group programs for juniors ages 5-14 in the spring, summer, and fall each year. The various programs all consist of instruction covering the basic fundamentals of the game, including full swing, putting, chipping, sand shots, the rules of golf, and course etiquette.  Our classes generally offer a 6:1 student to teacher ratio and are arranged according to age and/or ability.
